Paranoia is a useful, malleable thing because it can work as an allegory with innumerable and immediate applications; paranoia is not simply a thing produced or maintained by our zeitgeist: it is a formal feature, too, which is constructed as a result of other processes.

You've lost me here...
I'm not trying to be intentionally obscure, but I'm also not trying to sketch out anything clear (and clearly communicative yet). At the present time these are more for me than for anyone else. Gradually I hope to say some things about politics and images of the American political system, television/cinema, paranoia, fashion, technology, The Spectacle.
In Brecht's 'Writing the Truth: Five Difficulties' he notes that it's often more useful to write 'murdered' instead of 'killed'.
