Oh, one of my very favorite songs from one of my very favorite singers!

But this video (even though the quality is much better) really lacks the fabulousness of the Barbarella-esque video you can find on YouTube... (I just love how around 2:15 she looks around as if to figure out what the hell is going on).

Irresistiblement.

The choreography and costumes alone makes it fun.

Hey Zach,

are you planning on watching the big 2 games on sunday? :)
Perfection would be an Arsenal and a Liverpool win. But I am very biased.

Sachin, those are my sentiments exactly. To be even more precise: I hope that Man Utd/Liverpool is a really close and exciting match, and I hope that Arsenal are able to get at least one back from Hleb/Flamini/Fabregas and that they embarrass Chelsea. Maybe a brace for ol' Van Persie, and a screamer from outside the box via Sagna (he hasn't scored yet, has he?--I think he's great anyway) ...

No Sagna has not scored yet but yes he is a very good player. Good physical balance, amazing how he stays on his feet despite getting pushed and tackled. Exactly the kind of defender Arsenal have been missing for years.

Van Persie did score but it was incorrectly called back. And then he did miss two easy chances but it was great to see him back. He made an instant impact.

I love Cesc. He has no fear and is willing to stand up to anyone. Even Terry. Last year, Lampard tried to push Cesc out of the way but the kid stood his ground.

Overall, I will take the 3 points. Although, I do get wary of Arsenal's attempts to walk the ball into the net. My friend used to joke that sometimes it was not enough an Arsenal player beat a defender once, he had to go back and try to beat the defender a second time before scoring :)

Disappointed with Liverpool though. Same old story against ManU of not taking chances.

The North London derby is up this weekend for Arsenal, so no rest. The kids should play in tomorrow's Carling Cup game against Blackburn.

Been reading rumours that there might be a few more talented kids being bought in Jan. Amazing scouting network that Wenger has.

hey Zach, it's Margaret. I can't remember who pointed out your blog to me, but I'm here. It's funny how we each have our favorite videos of the same song. For me, it's undoubtedly the Italian version. It's been on my Youtube "favorites" list for a while. The echo effect is much more pronounced, and the gap between her teeth is more prominent. Aside from the huge "SYLVIE" sign behind her, the production is pretty unadorned. It's just her, lipsynching and dancing. During the extended instrumental section, she bows and the audience claps as she just stands on the stage pensively, waiting for the interlude to end. I'm into it.

Hi Margaret! I didn't know you were a prog lady. Not that I know much prog myself ...

I like the other Sylvie stagings, too. I guess I picked the one I did because of the color. Speaking of weird-great Italian videos, y'all seen this?

Sachin, Sagna is definitely one of my favorites on the team. He almost never makes mistakes, he's such a good supporting player on the attack, and the golden dreads are like icing on the cake. For the sake of drama I wish this Premiership were more of a three-horse race, which I guess it technically is with Chelsea--but in a slightly more ideal world it'd be Arsenal holding Liverpool & Man Utd at bay, with Chelsea and three or four other teams sniping for the fourth spot.

If you like multi character movies, this will not disapoint. The mainly unknown cast are all rather likeable folks. and Paul Jabara is very good in his only screen role.
